BC Licensing Rules for Wedding Limos & Party Buses
In British Columbia, any limousine, stretch SUV, party bus or coach that carries passengers for pay must operate under a licence from the Passenger Transportation Board. Limousines and perimeter-seating vehicles such as stretch SUVs and party buses need a Special Authorization licence, each vehicle must be approved by the Board, and approved vehicles carry a unique identifier plate. An unlicensed "wedding car" may not be properly insured to carry your guests.

- Licensed vehicles carry commercial passenger insurance — a private car does not
