Ask three limo companies for a quote on the same trip and you'll often get three very different numbers. That's because pricing depends on vehicle type, hours booked, distance, season, and how the vehicle structures fees — gratuity, fuel surcharges, and minimums all move the final total.

Two bookings for the "same" vehicle can land at very different prices once you account for these variables. Knowing them helps you compare quotes fairly.
Distance & Travel Time
Point-to-point fares scale with mileage and drive time. A Whistler or Kelowna run will always cost more than a downtown-to-airport hop.
Season, Day of Week & Holidays
Summer wedding season, New Year's Eve, prom weekends, and major events drive demand up — and pricing with it. Weekday daytime bookings are usually the cheapest.
Minimum Hours Required
Party buses and stretch limos usually carry a 2-hour minimum, and Whistler bookings a 4-hour minimum. A drop-off and a later pickup can count toward the minimum, so you don’t pay for idle time.
